The McSweeney Group is a national search firm dedicated to the office furniture and commercial interiors industry. Our headquarters is in Salt Lake City.

Our business is based upon specialization in the furniture industry and having a staff from this industry. We understand the search industry; and more important, our client's particular industries and markets. Marilyn McSweeney has been a top source for industry talent for more than 25 years. Marilyn McSweeney

Founder and CEO

Marilyn is the McSweeney Group's founder. Prior to working as an executive recruiter and career coach, Marilyn was a Sales Manager and Designer in the high-end contract furnishings industry.

Russell McSweeney

Managing Director

Russell holds finance and political science degrees from the University of Utah and a Masters degree from Northwestern University. He brings over 30 years of experience in both the Design and A&D communities.

Shauna Packer

Senior Recruiter

Shauna Packer is a multi-award winning author, researcher and public speaker. In addition Shauna has also worked for over twelve years as an executive recruiter. She holds a B.S. from University of Utah.

Terri Kosecki

Senior Recruiter

Terri has over 20 years of experience in the recruiting industry. Terri is also a former president of the Illinois Search and Staffing Association where she currently is an executive board member.

Katie Mosquera

Katie's a seasoned recruiter who brings 12+ years of successful experience to The McSweeney Group. Her recruitment focus is finding top-talent for the commercial interiors industry.

Danielle has over 30 years of combined experience in the design, architecture, in sales & recruiting. She began as an interior designer, creating award winning spaces and brings that same passion to her recruiting.

Holly Fortune

Holly has 23+ years of experience in the contract interior furnishings and flooring industry. She brings a deep understanding of the contract interior industry with a wide range of knowledge.

Laurie Baatz

Senior Recruiter

Laurie began her career as a commercial interior designer more than 30 years ago. She believes that people are a key component to an organization’s success.

Lauren McSweeney-Arnold

Recruiter Assistant

Having grown up with parents in the industry, Lauren has picked up the tricks of the trade. She has over 15 years’ experience in customer service, recruiting and candidate sourcing.

Karen Barber

Talent Resource Manager

Karen is an industry veteran with over 20 years of experience. The previous 11 with one of the oldest search firms in the interiors industries where she managed candiate recruiting operations.
